Looking for a great casual restaurant near you? Welcome to the Union Taproom located in the historic Hotel Yellowstone in downtown Pocatello, Idaho. Driving a downtown revival with its triple-threat as a sister business to The Yellowstone Restaurant and 313 Whiskey Bar, the Union Taproom pays homage to great pub-style food, beer, to Union Pacific (founded Pocatello), the rich history of our community’s railroad heritage, and the Portneuf River (check out our custom River Bar).
Taprooms are giving coffeehouses a run for their money as the new third-space (i.e., the place we hang out most after work and home). The Union Taproom is that place for southeast Idaho!
The Union Taproom has great local and regional craft beer and the most popular domestics on-hand, as well as an eclectic collection of single-serve obscure and hard-to-find beer. We also serve liquor for those that don’t like beer and have plenty of non-alcoholic choices for those that don’t drink.
Hungry? The Union Taproom has amazing Burgers, Barbeque, Chicken Wings, Fish, Tacos and more available 11am to 9pm Monday through Thursday, 11am to 10pm Fridays and Saturdays. If you like bar-type food, we have what you’re craving.

Monday Night $5 Burger
Monday’s are $5 Burger Bash days at the Union Taproom. The Union Taproom is open at 11 am so come on down, get a $5 burger (fries extra), and start your week off right! Also, take advantage of our killer Happy Hour from 4pm to 6pm. And, we’re now serving cocktails and liquor in the Taproom!
Taco Tuesday
All day every Tuesday is Taco Tuesday at the Union Taproom. Get 3 tacos for $9. Choose from steak, fish, shrimp, pork belly or black bean. We also have $3 margaritas to go with your tacos. We open for lunch at 11am.
DJ Trivia - Wednesdays
Join us for DJ Trivia each and every Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm. Bring your friends, bring your family (kids under 21 welcome). Free to play!
Wing Night Thursday
Our chicken wings are the best in Pocatello and Thursdays we offer 6 wings for $6, plus $2 domestic beers and $3 crafts from 11am to 9pm, at the Union Taproom! Come and get great wings and a great deal on beer!

We love live music so every Saturday we have a live performer or band. Music usually starts around 7:30 and goes until 10:30 or so. Join us for great local and traveling artists each and every Saturday.
